Barely arrived at CARON, Jean JACQUES found the inspiration for his first creation by exploring one of our finest treasures: our palette of ingredients. In this profusion of raw materials, one flower imposed itself on him: the rose, queen of flowers and star of CARON.
Thanks to her, Jean JACQUES wrote a first opus that looked like a manifesto. This creation expresses his ambition to imagine the new era of CARON: between tribute and rupture. The House’s first musky floral, Rose Ivoire draws on our heritage to better invent our future.

Often compared to a vegetable musk, the concrete obtained from the seeds of the ambrette (an exotic flower, a cousin of the hibiscus) is rarely used by perfumers, because of its prohibitive price. But nothing is too good for CARON perfumes! Present in the Rose Ivoire formula, it gives it a soft, amber and iridescent scent, and contributes to the exceptional amplitude of its wake.
